Lord, I claim this promise over ________’s life; that You will restore her (him) to health, and You will heal her (him) of her (his) wounds.
Lord, I ask that ________will experience how You have loved her (him) with an everlasting love and to know that she (he) can count on You to continue your faithfulness to her (him).
Instead of any shame ________ may have, will you, Lord, give her (him) a double portion of your blessing. Remove any humiliation ________ may feel and replace it with shouts for joy over her portion…because you, Lord, love justice. Let her (him) rejoice greatly in You, let her (his) soul exult in her (his) God.
Lord, would you surround ________ with friends who are loving, faithful and supportive at all times and give her a family that sticks together through hard times.
I pray that _______ be single-minded in pursuit of You, not missing the road signs You’ve posted just for her (him). Let her (him) bank Your promises in the vault of her (his) heart so she (he) won’t be bankrupt by sin.
Lord, would you orchestrate a way for ________ to experience this truth: You will meet all her (his) needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
I pray that _______ will depend on you, God. You are everything she (he) needs. When she (he) takes up Your name as her (his) own, her (his) heart will brim with joy. Love her (him), God, with all You’ve got – that’s what I’m depending on.
I pray that you stir into flame the strength and boldness that is in _______. For the Holy Spirit, God’s gift, does not want her (him) to be afraid of people, but to be wise and strong, and to love them and enjoy being with them.
(The first of every month will be a prayer for the mother of my children…me!)
Lord, this is your will for me in Christ Jesus; to be joyful always, pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances. The best thing I can do for my children is to remain in the center of your will.
Show yourself to _______ as Jehovah Nissi, the God who raises a banner of victory over her (his) battles. Surround her (him) with faithful people to support her (him) and stand by her (him) in difficult times.
