Daily Prayer from Philippians 4:6-7

(The first of every month will be a prayer for the parent of my children…me!) Lord, you've told me not to fret or worry. Instead of worrying, to pray. I'm letting you know my concerns as I let petitions and praises shape my worries for ________ into prayers. Thank you for the sense of your wholeness, of everything coming together for good, that comes and settles me down. It's wonderful what happens when you, Christ, displace worry at the center of my life. Philippians 4:6-7

Daily Prayer from 2 Samuel 22:2

God, I pray that ________'s soul will have this confidence: God is bedrock under my feet, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight. My God—the high crag where I run for dear life, hiding behind the boulders, safe in the granite hideout; my mountaintop refuge, he saves me from ruthless men. 2 Samuel 22:2
