Daily Prayer from 3 John 2-4

I pray for good fortune in everything ________ does and for her (his) good health - that her (his) everyday affairs prosper, as well as her (his) soul. Lord, bring me good news that _______ persists in following the way of truth. Nothing could make me happier than getting reports that my children continue diligently in the way of Jesus! 3 John 2-4

Daily Prayer from Romans 6:12-14

Lord, help ________ to not give sin a vote in the way she (he) conducts her (his) life; to not give it the time of day; to not even run little errands that are connected with that old way of life. Let her throw herself (himself) wholeheartedly and full-time into your way of doing things, remembering she (he) has been raised from the dead. She (He) doesn't have to live under that old tyranny any longer, but can live in the freedom of God. Romans 6:12-14

Daily Prayer from Colossians 3:15-17

Father in heaven, let the peace of Christ keep ________ in tune with others; in step with others instead of going off and doing her (his) own thing. And let her (him) cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ have the run of her (his) heart, giving it plenty of room in her (his) life. Let her (him) instruct and direct others using good common sense. And let her (him) sing, sing her (his) heart out to you, God. Let every detail in ________'s life – words, actions, whatever – be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. Colossians 3:15-17

Daily Prayer from Ecclesiastes 9:7-9

I pray that _______ seize life and live it with gusto and a robust heart, knowing that You, Lord, take pleasure in her (his) pleasure. Daily Prayer from Ephesians 5:8-10

I pray that _______'s soul will be out in the open. With the bright light of Christ making her (his) way plain. Help her (him) to stumble no more and get on with it. The good, the right, the true - these are the actions appropriate for living in the light. Continue to help her (him) figure out what will please Christ and then do it. Ephesians 5:8-10
