Lord, help ________ to not give sin a vote in the way she (he) conducts her (his) life; to not give it the time of day; to not even run little errands that are connected with that old way of life. Let her throw herself (himself) wholeheartedly and full-time into God’s way of doing things, remembering she (he) has been raised from the dead. She (He) doesn’t have to live under that old tyranny any longer, but can live in the freedom of God.
